I was trying to use a regular work out mat for Yoga and it was slipping and ack so was I... The sticky surface on the Yoga mat is wonderful!! It's a perfect size for all the postures, can be taken anywhere as it folds up nicely... It is an excellent thickness for my needs and so comfortable, I am very happy I purchased it.

This mat is very long, two children could use it at the same time, which is longer than needed... Also it says extra thick, it is as thin or thiner than every yoga mat I've used plus if you sweat at all its like doing yoga on a slip 'n slide... I gave it away and went back to using the floor. Customer Review: Convenient!

I have 6 mats now, of differing types, including this Savasa Travel Yoga Mat, and I really enjoy bringing this mat to class as well as use at home... I participate in heated vinyasa yoga so this makes a great non-skid layer underneath the woven mat or towel, because it packs up smaller than the mats I have to roll up, it's definitely convenient for travel.

The little bag that comes with it can carry some essentials, like an extra change of yoga clothes, deodorant, pack towel, etc... When I use it at home, I find that the fold lines are great for alignment checks, and I don't have the same slippage issues that I have with other yoga mats... I really appreciate the product!

Although it's called the travel yoga mat, I use it all the time... It's light weight but cushy and sticky for ashtanga or vinyasa based yoga... I totally suggest this mat for anyone who practices yoga and wants a great travel yoga mat!

Customer Review: Doesn't last a lifetime

I bought this yoga mat because it was supposed to last a lifetime (or two)... This is false... I used the mat for only 6 months 5 times a week to practice ashtanga and the surface started to peel off like the others I used before (but this one costs twice as much)... The purplelite travel yoga mat is much heavier than a regular mat too, so realistically this is not a traveling mat... The "lite" in the name is just because it is lighter than the black mat, however I still think this mat is superior to the 20 dollars mats.
